Fonologi i Norden 2020

Fonologi i Norden (FiNo) is intended as a relatively informal platform for phonologists in the Nordic countries (including, but not limited to Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, and Sweden), and phonologists from elsewhere who are interested in Nordic topics, broadly understood. Previous meetings were held in Gothenburg (2016), hosted by Laura Downing and Martin Krämer, Kristiansand (2017), hosted by Patrik Bye and Allison Wetterlin, Lund (2018), hosted by Merle Horne, Shinichiro Ishihara, Sara Myrberg, and Mikael Roll, and Edinburgh (2019), hosted by Pavel Iosad.

We are delighted to announce that the fifth FiNo meeting will be hosted by the Department of Languages and Literature Studies at the University of South-Eastern Norway, campus Drammen, 21-22 February, 2020.

We invite submissions on any topic in phonology (including work in progress). Abstracts related to Nordic phonology are particularly encouraged. Please e-mail your abstract in PDF format to fonologi.i.norden(at)gmail.com by 18 November, 2019. The abstract should not exceed one A4 page, with 2.45 cm margins, 12 point font, single line spacing. Please indicate in the file or email if you would prefer to give a talk or present a poster.

Important dates:
Submission deadline for abstracts: 18 November, 2019
Notification: 16 December, 2019
Meeting: 21-22 February, 2020
