Nordic Challenges and Identities: Pasts, Presents, Futures

Launched in 2016, UiO:Nordic is the largest research initiative focused on the Nordic region. Funding, hosting, and administering 13 interdisciplinary research groups, UiO:Nordic has conducted a wide range of interdisciplinary work, spanning from studies of experts in Nordic policy-making to gender roles in the Viking age.

Through open calls, large dissemination series, and collaborations with institutional partners, we have provided a collective base for researchers and members of the public interested in the Nordic and its role and identity in a changing, global world.

As the initiative is due to end in September 2023, we are inviting you to our final conference, hosted in collaboration with our partners in the ReNEW network.
