The German-Danish border regions: the best practice exam-ple for other European border regions?

The conference is part of the EU project FRONTEM. The network seeks to facilitate a new reading of the role of the borders in European integration by considering that there is not only one model of perception and management of borders in and around the European Union, but that these also depend on the specificity of each border region concerned. The conference will deal with the question whether the Danish-German border can be seen as a model for the development of a model for cross-border co-operation in Europe.
